EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The 96th Medical Group will be closed all day Aug. 1 and subsequently all day the first Wednesday of each month to focus on mission readiness.
The full training day is to prepare medics for home station response and wartime contingencies.
All outpatient clinics and departments, to include satellite pharmacy operations, will be closed during training days. All inpatient departments and emergency services will remain open. The 96th MDG recommends planning medication refills and other routine medical needs accordingly.
For urgent healthcare needs during training days, beneficiaries can call the Nurse Advice Line at 1(800)-TRICARE.
Flight medicine sick-call hours for Airmen who need to be cleared to return to flight status will be available from 7 to 7:30 a.m.
