Gas & Go
Staff Sgt. Rowan Torres, 43rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, sends another F-22A Raptor on its way after refueling during a hot pit session June 13 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Hot pitting allows for aircrew to fly back to back missions without having to shut down the aircraft. The 96th Petroleum Oil and Lubricants Flight Airmen and civilians fueled the jets via trucks to deconflict with F-35 Lightning II refueling at the hot pit station throughout the week. The Raptors moved to Eglin after Tyndall was hit by Hurricane Michael in October. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
