The 96th Medical Group observes Biomedical Sciences Corps Appreciation week beginning Jan. 23 to recognize the organization’s efforts and contributions to Air Force medicine. The BSC is made up of 15 wide-ranging specialties of medical and technical experts who provide medical support to Team Eglin and nearby military installations.
The 96th Medical Group cleaned up in a variety of Air Force Materiel Command awards categories recently.
“It’s awesome to see so many 96th TW folks being recognized for what we already know - they’re the best in the MAJCOM,” said Col. Timothy Beers, 96th TW vice commander in an email announcement.
Here are the AFMC winners:
96th MDG - Medical Logistics Team of the Year; USAF Resource Management Team of the Year; Hospital of the Year; Best Inpatient Facility Patient Safety Program
