Masks now mandatory in most Eglin support facilities

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --

By order of the 96th Mission Support Group commander, individuals engaging in specific Eglin support activities must wear a facemask.

This policy is effective immediately.  Masks are not provided to those without them.

Here are the facilities and activities wear masks are mandatory:

  • Hospital
  • ID cards
  • Child development activities
  • Base Exchange
  • Fitness centers
  • Legal assistance
  • Dining facilities/food courts
  • Commissary
  • Outdoor recreation
  • Potentially other activities/facilities as required

This addition of activities and facilities is to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
