EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- As part of Suicide Prevention Month, community partners, known as EscaRosa Coalition, will host a special training focused on suicide prevention strategies focused on service members, veterans and their families Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The EscaRosa Coalition is a community group supporting Escambia and Santa Rosa counties that works with 96th Test Wing’s Integrated Prevention and Resiliency Office for training opportunities, meetings and a unified approach to support in all capacities.

“This training is specifically targeted towards keeping our military personnel, and their families, safe,” said Lindsey Sharpe, IPRO chief.  “I value that the local coalition is supportive/focused on our military, their families and veterans, just as we are.”
