EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Go the Extra Mile: Fall Distance Challenge is underway through Nov. 17.
This wellness initiative encourages participants to improve their overall health through various physical activities. By tracking distance, participants can boost physical activity levels and enhance fitness.
“Participating in the wellness challenge is a fun and motivating way to get more movement each day and turn it into a new daily habit,” said Kim Harris, Eglin’s Civilian Health Promotions Services coordinator.
Register through the Civilian Wellness Portal now through Nov. 17. Participants may choose to log physical activity and distance directly in the portal or sync data from compatible wearable devices. The goal is to complete a total distance of 84 miles and attend the ‘Wellness on a Mission 3 – Physical Activity, Let’s Move’ presentation to finish the challenge.
