EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Registration is available for the base’s 40th Anniversary Gate to Gate Memorial Run/Walk May 16.
To celebrate the anniversary, the event returns to its historic roots as a true gate-to-gate race of 4.4 miles across the base.
The opening ceremony begins at 6:45 a.m., with the race starting at 7 a.m. Participants can register as individuals or as part of a four-person team in male, female, or co-ed categories.
All non-War Department attendees and guests must be pre-registered to gain access to the base. All non-DoW family members and guests must be included during the registration process for a security check.
Registration is $50 now through April 19 for all attendees. The price is $60 from April 20-30. The non-DOW attendee registration deadline is April 30. DOW attendees can register through race day, May 16 for $60.
