EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The National Cyber Range Complex’s Eglin facility officially became fully operational with a ceremonial ribbon cutting June 25.
The facility aligns with Air Force and Space Force cyber program needs and is co-located and operates collaboratively with the 96th Cyberspace Test Group.
The NCRC conducts cyber testing, training, and mission rehearsal/preparation events for a variety of customers including those involved in research, development, acquisition, testing, training, and operations.
“This marks the beginning of a new capability that will strengthen cyber resilient testing, mission assurance and operational readiness across the Department of the Air Force,” said Tim Melancon, 96th CTG technical director. “The 96th CTG is honored to accept the responsibility for this mission. We look forward to working alongside our partners as we contribute to build the future of cyber resilient testing here at Eglin.”
