EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — Eglin has fully transitioned public affairs support requests to the Public Affairs Productivity Portal to streamline customer service and enhance mission support across the Wing.
P3 is the official Department of the Air Force online system used to manage and track public affairs requests, and all test wing supported units, squadrons, and people requiring assistance must submit their requests through the online system.
Each wing on base maintains its own P3 account to manage support. When creating a ticket, requesters must select their specific servicing public affairs office — such as the 96th Test Wing, 33rd Fighter Wing, 53rd Wing, 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing, or 919th Special Operations Wing — from the main menu.
People can access P3 from workstations or home computers to submit new requests, check the status of existing tickets, and communicate directly with the person handling their projects.
To initiate a request, users must complete an online form providing the event date, location, point of contact, and a clear justification outlining the mission requirement. Requestors should submit requests as early as possible with detailed timelines and the full scope of the event to deconflict scheduling.
Once submitted, the system automatically routes the ticket to the selected public affairs office. An administrator will review the submission and send an approval or disapproval notification, along with an explanation, directly to the requester's email. If approved, the request is assigned to a staff member for execution.
Routine services, such as official portraits, are also managed through P3. The 96th Test Wing provides official photos two days a week for all service members and civilian employees on Eglin. The 33rd FW and 919th SOW operate their own official studio with scheduling through the respective P3 portal page.
Supported services include photography, video, marquee updates, command information, security and policy review, community engagements, and media relations.
