33rd Change of Command Ceremony
Group commanders line up with their guidons prior to the 33rd Fighter Wing change of command ceremony June 14 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. From the left, Senior Master Sgt. Martinez holds the colors for the Academic Training Center and stands behind their group commander, Marine Col. Anthony Manuel. To their left are the 33rd Maintenance Group led by Navy Capt. Lance Massey and the 33rd Operations Group led by Col. Stephen Jost. While the wing will always be led by an Air Force colonel, other senior leadership positions rotate among the three co-located services who are part of the team managing the F-35 Lightning II Integrated Training Center for the U.S. military and its coalition partners. Col. Todd Canterbury took command of the wing from Col. Andrew Toth, who leaves to become director of assignments at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo/Sara Vidoni)
