Breast Cancer Awareness 5k
Runners dressed in pink jog to support the Eighth Annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5k run Oct. 17 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Eglin's health promotion flight was also on hand providing information on breast cancer risk factors, symptoms and screenings. The event was held to promote breast cancer awareness and the importance of self-examination to catch the disease in its early stages. More than 200 supporters came out to run.
