86th FWS hosts Combat Hammer
Airmen from 23rd Equipment Maintenance Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, load an AGM-65 Maverick air-to-surface guided missile into a shipping container after it passed a tracking function test April 26 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Pictured from the left are Senior Airman Lauren Smith, Senior Airman Troy Praisner and Senior Airman Kyle Rodriguez. The Airmen participated in Combat Hammer, which is conducted by the 86th Fighter Weapons Squadron. It is an air-to-ground weapons evaluation exercise which collects and analyzes data on the performance of precision weapons and measures their suitability for use in combat.
