Airman 1st Class India Jenkins-Bivens, 96th Medical Group, makes a text to pledge at the Military Saves Week kickoff event Feb. 26 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Eligible patrons can make savings pledges from their smartphones by texting “Eglin Saves” to 95577. Eglin is the first DoD installation to launch the new system. The week-long financial readiness campaign encourages service members and civilians to meet immediate needs and build long-term wealth through saving and debt reduction.
