Superintendents learn, network during inaugural symposium
Airmen tour a facility at the Air Force Enlisted Village as part of the installation’s first Superintendent Symposium Jan. 27 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The nearly week-long course was established to fulfill a gap in training for superintendents. Students learned about their daily roles, how to support of the overall health of their squadron and prepare for the unexpected. The curriculum also included briefings by subject matter experts on deployment and medical readiness, manpower, budget, assignments, inspector general applications, and personnel.
