Eglin hosts LEGACY STEM students
A close-up look at a robotics system’s surgical monitor during a mock procedure using gummy bears during a STEM outreach tour at the Eglin Hospital, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. While at the hospital each student had an opportunity to do a mock surgical procedure with gummy bears using the unit’s DaVinci Robotics System. The group of 24 students visited the base as part of Wright-Patterson’s LEGACY Craftsman Camp here to introduce and encourage interest in STEM related career fields in the Air Force.
