Alia on the line
The BETA Technologies Alia aircraft taxies in after another successful test flight Nov. 9 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The all-electric aircraft, located at Duke Field, north of Eglin, uses the Defense Department’s only on-site charging station to recharge the batteries. The process takes about an hour.
