November Road Closures

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --  Certain roads around Eglin Air Force Base will be closed on the following dates and times for a test mission:

Nov. 1, 2 from 6 a.m. - 5 p.m.
West Side - Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) .3 miles west of C5 (Field 1)
East Side - Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) .7 miles east of Range Road 212
North Side - Range Road 214, 1 mile north of Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes)
Includes Indigo Pond south side - Range Road 214 at Gate 214S/359

Note: closes northern part of C72; closes Field 1; C7 Launch Pad is clear

Nov. 2, 3, 4  from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Nov. 6, from 6 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Nov. 8, from 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. and from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. 
West Side - Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) .3 miles west of C5 (Field 1)
East Side - Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) .7 miles east of Range Road 212

Note: closes northern part of C72; closes Field 1; C7 Launch Pad is clear

Nov. 2, from 8 - 10 a.m. and  Nov. 7, 13 from 7:30 - 9 a.m.  
Intersection of Hwy 285 and Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) back to the east to the west end of LZ east

Nov. 6, from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.; Nov. 8, from 9 - 11 a.m.; Nov. 27, from 11:30 - 1:30 p.m., and extended from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.; Nov. 29, from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. and Nov. 30, from 1 - 3:30 p.m.
Range Road 213 closed at the intersection of Range Road 213/215 detour (East End)
Range Road 230 closed at the intersection of Range Road 230/Hwy 85
Range Road 232 closed at the intersection of Range Road 232/Hwy 85
Range Road 236 closed at the intersection of Range Road 236/232
Range Road 234 closed at the intersection of Range Road 234/Power Lines (Spray Fields)
Range Road 253 closed at the intersection of Range Road 253/666/259(A21)
Range Road 213 closed at the intersection of Range Road 213/291 (West End)

Range Road 236 at Substation on South End
Range Road 257 from Range Road 213 to Ranger Camp

Range Road 259 closed north of the intersection with Range Road 688
Range Road 688 closed from the intersection with Range Road 259 east to the intersection with Range Road 666
Range Road 666 closed from the intersection with Range Road 688 east to the intersection with Range Road 253
Range Road 253 closed north of the intersection with Range Road 666

Range Road 213 closed starting at the intersection with Range Road 215 and extending southwest. Everything west of SR85 to SR87 is closed.

Note: Access to 7SFG Cantonment Area on RR215 will remain open. RR215 and Hwy 85 will remain open. RR211 East will remain open for access to Camp Rudder.

Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.; Nov. 16, from 1 - 4 p.m. and Nov. 20, from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Roads to be blocked:
Range Road 211 from Hwy 87 to Range Road 253
Range Road 213 from Field 5 Water Tank to Hwy 87
Intersection of Range Road 234/250 to Range Road 253/Hwy 98
3, 5 and 9 Mile Road
