October Road Closures

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --  Certain roads around Eglin Air Force Base will be closed on the following dates and times for a test mission:

Oct. 1, 6, 7 from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
West Side - Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) .3 miles west of C5 (Field 1)
East Side - Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) .7 miles east of Range Road 212

Note: closes northern part of C72; closes Field 1; C7 Launch Pad is clear

Oct. 2, 3 from 8 - 10 a.m. 
Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) closed from its intersection with Hwy 285 to LZ East

Oct. 4, from 7:30 - 11:30 a.m. and Oct. 18, 23 from 7 - 10 a.m.; Oct. 19, from 7 - 11 a.m.; Oct. 22, from 7 - 10:30 a.m.; Oct. 24, from 8 - 10 a.m. and Oct. 25, from 7 - 9:15 a.m.

Range Road 213 closed starting at the intersection with Range Road 215 and extending southwest.  Everything west of SR85 to SR87 is closed.

Note:  Access to 7SFG Cantonment Area on RR215 will remain open.  RR215 and Hwy 85 will remain open.  RR211 East will remain open for access to Camp Rudder.

Note:  The Haul Road Gate will no longer be open after Nov. 4.  All commercial traffic will need to proceed to the North Gate for processing.

Note: Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes) will be temporarily closed due to Eglin test missions on test range C-74 beginning Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. The closure may be in effect for up to 24 hours.
