Nipa Hut off limits to military personnel Published Feb. 17, 2010 By 010210 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- the Nipa Hut Sports Bar and Lounge has been placed off-limits until further notice to all military personnel, effective Feb. 17. The Nipa Hut is located at 724 Eglin Parkway NE, Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The Nipa Hut has been placed off limits to protect the health, safety and welfare of members of the Armed Forces. In addition, Dixon Appliances, located at 5480 U.S. Highway 98 W, Santa Rosa Beach, continues to be off limits since June 28, 2007. Armed Forces personnel (whether in uniform or civilian clothing) found entering, leaving or conducting business with either of these prohibitory establishments may be subject to disciplinary actions under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
