Multiple road closures for Feb

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. --  Certain roads around Eglin Air Force Base will be closed on the following dates and times for test missions: 

Thurs, Feb. 19., 2 to 4:30 p.m. (For more information, call 882-0588 and reference Mission 2743.):

· Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes Road) at Range Road 257 East end
· Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes Road) at Range Road 291 West end
· Range Road 257 at Ranger Camp
· Range Road 213 at Range Road 238
· Range Road 236 at Range Road 250 (substation)
· Range Road 234 at Range Road 687
· Range Road 253 at 1st Bridge
· Range Road 213/708 at Highway 87
· Range Road 211 at Highway 87
· Range Road 211 at Range Road 717
· Range Road 236 at Range Road 688
· All Eglin range roads west of State Highway 85 and extending to Highway 87

Sat, Feb. 20, 8 to 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (For more information, call 882-0588, or 882-3884 and reference Mission 2740, 2441.):

· Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes Road) intersection with State Road 253 East
· Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes Road) intersection at Field 7 west of runway

Roads are not generally closed for the entire duration of each mission. Closures will occur only when absolutely required for safety and will normally be a 20- to 30-minute period occurring prior to or within the scheduled mission time. Drivers should plan accordingly.
