Oct. 30 Road Closure Published Oct. 29, 2008 By 007408 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Certain roads around Eglin Air Force Base will be closed on the following date and time for a test mission: Thursday, Oct. 30 from 7:15 to 9:15 a.m.: · Range Road 253 at Range Road 211 · Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes Road) at Range Road 211 at State Highway 87 · Range Road 232 at State Highway 85 · Range Road 236 closed one half mile south of Field 4 Several missions will occur using the same road closure plan. This may cause multiple closures of 20 to 30 minutes on the roads listed above. Closures will occur only when absolutely required for safety. Drivers should plan accordingly.
