Road Closure for Sept. 22 Published Sept. 18, 2008 By 006508 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE -- Certain roads around Eglin Air Force Base will be closed on the following date and time for a test mission: Monday, Sept. 22 from 8 to 10 a.m.: · Hwy 85 from Duke Field to the intersection of Hwy 85 and College Blvd. · State Route 123 and the intersection of Hwy 85 · Range Road 257 at Field 6 · Hwy 85 and Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes Road) · Hwy 85 and Range Road 228 · State Route 123 at Tom's Creek · Range Road 236 at Range Road 189 · Range Road 211 at State Highway 87 · Range Road 211 at Range Road 253 · East Hwy 85 to Hwy 285 · Range Road 228 North to Range Road 213 (Bob Sikes Road) Several missions will occur using the same road closure plan. This may cause multiple closures of 20 to 30 minutes on the roads listed above. Closures will occur only when absolutely required for safety. Drivers should plan accordingly.
