General court-martial scheduled for Eglin officer Published Feb. 12, 2007 By 070004 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Eglin Law Center will conduct a general court-martial Feb. 19 at 8:30 a.m. for Capt. Devery L. Taylor of the 96th Medical Group. Captain Taylor was charged in June 2006 with four counts of forcible sodomy, two counts of attempted sodomy, three counts of kidnapping and one count of unlawful entry. An Article 32 hearing took place on Sept. 14, 2006, to impartially weigh the charges against Captain Taylor and to recommend an appropriate disposition of the charges. On Nov. 6, 2006, the Air Armament Center commander referred the charges to trial by general court-martial. No cameras or recording devices will be allowed inside the courtroom.
