FORCE PROTECTION CONDITION BRAVO DECLARED Published May 8, 2015 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Officials implemented Force Protection Condition Bravo at approximately 1 p.m. Friday, May 8. FPCON Bravo is declared when there is an increased or more predictable threat of activity even though no particular target has been identified. The base will remain at this heightened security level until the potential for increased threat changes. Base visitors can anticipate minor delays entering the base as a result of the increased security measures. Drivers are asked to have ID cards available to assist gate guards in this process.
