East Gate outbound lane closure Published July 25, 2014 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Upcoming lane closure: Starting July 28 through the end of August, the outside outbound lane near the East Gate will be closed due to road repair required for the intersection of Eglin Blvd. and 8th St. Between the hours of 2:30 - 6:30 p.m., traffic will be shifted to create two outbound lanes to ease congestion. During that time, the inbound lane will drop to one lane. All other times of day only one outbound lane will be available.
