UPDATE: Power outage on East side of Eglin Published May 13, 2014 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- UPDATE: Power has been restored. Check with your supervisors/work centers for reporting requirements. The East side of the main base has sustained a wide spread power outage. Employees should contact supervisors/work centers for reporting instructions. The hospital, commissary, BX and 33rd FW are not affected by the power outage and will continue normal operations.
