Eighth Street road closure Published April 8, 2014 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The intersection at 8th Street and Eglin Blvd will be closed due to a collapsed storm drain. Access to Dorms, chapel, and fitness center will still be possible from 8th Street by using D Avenue and Ocala Road. The intersection expected to be closed for several months until contract repairs can be made.
