EXERCISE - HURCON 1 DECLARED - EXERCISE Published Aug. 27, 2013 EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE Hurricane Condition One has been declared at Eglin by the 96th Test Wing commander as of 2:30 p.m. today because of the threat of Hurricane Heidi. Hurricane Condition One means destructive winds of 58 MPH or greater are possible within 12 hours. Evacuation should be completed at this time. Personnel will remain in shelters until released by the Eglin Battle Staff. All facilities and services have been shut down. Eglin officials also remind people to monitor television or radio broadcasts for the National Hurricane Center's latest forecast.
