• New traffic enforcement campaign begins

    The 96th Security Forces Squadron will begin rolling out a large-scale traffic enforcement campaign focusing on those areas with the intent to mitigate future accidents and safety issues.

    U.S. Army Col. Samuel Saine, 4th Battlefield Coordination Detachment commander, and detachment leadership visited the 33rd Fighter Wing while conducting a battlefield circulation analysis to engage with and evaluate Ground Liaison Officers at Eglin Air Force Base, Jan. 25-26, 2017.

  • Nomads fire first missiles

    The 33rd Fighter Wing loaded and shot the first air-to-air missiles from an operational F-35A during a weapons system evaluation at Tyndall Air Force Base, Jan. 31, 2017. Individual AIM-120 advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles (AMRAAM) were loaded into four separate aircraft.
