Inspired by the competitive spirit of investigators and drawing parallels from the popular TV show, “Crime Scene Kitchen,” the Air Force Office of Special Investigations Detachment 104 at Eglin crafted the idea of the Battle of the Badges, replacing baking with crime scene processing.
